About us
Viscount Learning Community is based on a full primary co-educational school located in the suburb of Mangere, near Auckland's international airport. The school is ranked decile 1 and has a current roll of around 800 children. The school is proud of the development of effective programmes evidenced by the improvements in student achievement. We attribute this growth to high levels of teacher expertise in reading, reached through long, deep and continuous professional development. This growth in teachers' skill levels has led to new attitudes to learning and a desire to be learners alongside students.
